AlcoholLog ("the App") is a personal drink journal for logging wines and beers. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
The App may collect the following data, all of which is stored locally on your device only:
android.permission.CAMERA) – used only to take photos of drink labels. Photos are stored locally and are never uploaded.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) – used only to tag where a drink was logged. Location data stays on-device.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES) – used only to let you choose an existing photo from your gallery to attach to a drink entry.All permissions are optional. The App functions without them; location and photo features will simply be unavailable.
The App uses Google Maps to display drink locations on a map. When the map is shown, your device communicates with Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
All app data is stored in a private SQLite database on your device. It is not accessible to other apps. If you uninstall the App, all data is deleted automatically.
AlcoholLog is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
